Pit Stop Diner, nestled in Cabazon, California, is a delightful American restaurant that consistently earns praise from its patrons. Reviewers appreciate the generous portions and reasonable prices, making it an excellent stop for travelers looking to satisfy their cravings without breaking the bank. Danielle Charlot recounts a satisfying late breakfast experience, highlighting the perfect balance of portion and service. Many dishes shine at Pit Stop Diner, particularly the chicken fried steak noted by Jeff Bradley, who described it as the largest and tastiest he's encountered. The diner’s menu features a range of options, from the classic Belgian waffle to the standout fried fish and chips, making it a versatile choice for any meal. Reviewers note the fresh ingredients and delicious flavors, with M G recommending it as an underrated gem. Despite a few minor critiques—like Bill Schultz’s observation of inconsistent pancake quality—the overall atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, as noted by Christi Parker. With its clean environment and easy access from the freeway, Pit Stop Diner is not just a meal stop; it’s an experience worth revisiting. If you're seeking comfort food served with a smile, this diner will not disappoint.

Can’t honestly say enough about the food and the service here. I had the chicken fried steak and it was the tastiest and definitely the biggest one I’ve ever had. All the food here is absolutely amazing! Well worth pulling off the freeway for and really easy to enter the old/ little Morongo casino/bowling alley building. PLENTY of different sized vehicle parking spaces here. You definitely get what you pay for here!!!!!

Stopped for the Big Rig Special. Great deal! Hash browns were good. Eggs cooked perfect. Bacon was good, but the sausage had a weird taste. Pancakes were pretty dry. Service was good and friendly. Nice and clean! We will come back and try the Cobb salad for sure!

We enjoyed both meals at the pit stop. Everyone was friendly. The food was tasty and a little cheaper than the casino for the same quality. I will go back on our next visit.

I'll tell all my fellow truckers right now; this a hidden honey hole of a diner. The best coffee and breakfast is GREAT; top notch & the diner bar is walk in seating! This easily better than any rest area of travel center along I-10 in California. Did I say GREAT BREAKFAST!

I drive from Four Seasons in Beaumont to Morongo Pit Stop Dinner (Bowling next door)to get my COBB SALAD. It's simply the best anywhere and worth the drive. Salad includes red onions, olives, cherry tomatoes, a cut up boiled egg, sliced avocados, bacon over iceberg lettuce. The service is outstanding.

Got the Big Rig Breakfast and the Cobb Salad to go. Was waited on by Veronica. The food was great and Veronica was amazing. I asked for a the salad to go after my breakfast and she remembered that I told her that I didn't want olives with it. Very friendly. Definitely coming back again.
